Paper Wings
I’m (obviously) NOT piano proficient, but… This is the only piece I’ve written for piano. I originally had in mind a lyric from “Puff The Magic Dragon”, but mistakenly thought the line was “paper wings” instead of “painted wings”. Serendipitous mistake, I guess. I hope the music evokes images of growing into adulthood and the sadness of leaving childhood behind.
