Bisbee, AZ, aka Mayberry LSD
Today was a day trip (emphasis on “trip”) to Bisbee, AZ. Bisbee is an old mining town, reborn as a sort of old hippy outpost, complete with the left-leaning politics, quirky shops and artwork. I didn’t bring my camera and only took a couple of shots with my phone. I really should have taken more photos, and will go back and try to do better at another time. It’s truly a feast for the senses.
** side note: if you’re ever in town and shopping for a hat, don’t miss the Desert Diva https://bisbeediva.com. You wouldn’t venture outside in the sub-zero NY winters without a coat and/or hat and gloves, right? Similarly, you probably should equip yourself with sunscreen and an appropriate hat in the AZ sun. The Diva was very patient, pleasant and helpful with our headgear quest. Tell her we sent you!
