Holy Spirit, cleansing fire,
Bring the words that you would have me say.
Fill my heart with your desires
Rushing wind come fan the flame - refining fire, eternal reign.

May this song of praise be pleasing to your ears.
Hear the cries of broken hearts
For the sake of those called by your name
Restore us, Lord, to strengthen what remains.
Too many words – too many empty
Too many prayers are prayed for ears of men to hear.
Too many proud – so few are humble
Too few are washing wayward eyes with holy tears.
Holy Father, great I AM,
From your place in highest Heaven you look down.
What am I, that you should even care?
Make my life a living sacrifice - a fragrant offering to a holy God.
Too many words – too many empty
Too many prayers are prayed for ears of men to hear.
Too many proud – so few are humble
Too few are washing wayward eyes with holy tears.
Too many tears – too little sorrow
Too little fire in the worship of the lord.
Too many songs of dust and ashes
Too little passion for the holiness of God.
