  a few comments and reviews:

"A fine artist with a beautiful voice and great style, and an incredibly talented writer as well." - Terry Ferdinand, The Folk Show, BishopFM South West Durham, UK

"Thank you for the performance last night at the coffeehouse - you were awesome. Everyone loved you. It was much appreciated and we would love to have you perform again in the very near future." - Vicky Bisgrove, Westfield Advent Christian Church

"i seriously wanted to get up and dance to Rescue Me.
soo fun man!!! love it." - eg -

"Lance Gallup provided compelling music played and sung so beautifully, we did not want to leave." - VP, a Pittsfield listener (Berkshire Eagle letter to the editor)

Lance recently presented an evening of mostly original compositions. We have had many guest Christian artists over the years. Our group tends to be rather discriminating, but Lance's program was unusually well received. Accompanying himself on acoustic guitar (and piano on one number), his music was a refreshing blend of contemporary, folk, and soft-rock with good variety. He is an especially gifted guitarist and very able vocalist and his firm spiritual commitment comes through loud and clear.

"...one of Berkshire County's most enjoyed and welcomed musicians. Much appreciated." - Sean Taylor, Freight Yard Restaurant & Pub, Taylor's Fine Dining, N. Adams MA

Lance Gallup is most definitely a house favorite at Dottie's - quite honestly, he's perfect for my audience. - Jessica Rufo, Dottie's Coffee Lounge, Pittsfield MA

Lance's songs tend to tell a story and he skillfully combines testimony with humor. He is relaxed in front of a congregation and is able to get the group involved. His 60-70 minute program seemed to go by very quickly. We look forward to the release of his new CD and we hope to have Lance back again for another program sometime soon. I encourage you to schedule Lance for a program with your group in the near future. You will be glad that you did!

"Lance and AJ were both just righteous." Gerry Tracy, owner/manager Teapot Gallery, Westfield, MA

"Lance, I love this lyric. You have a great gift for metaphor, visual imagery and adventurous wordplay."

 - John Braheny, "The Craft and Business of Songwriting"

Lance Gallup's singing, songwriting, and guitar playing combine to create a moving musical experience. Whether you hear him in a small café setting, a concert auditorium, or through one of his recordings, Lance's music has the depth to reach you and the creative energy to carry you. He is one of my favorite artists.

Friday night was great! Thank you for your last minute adjustment to being under the lights for the entire program instead of just 2 or 3 songs. I heard some glowing comments, and it was very smooth working with you through the moment by moment zigs and zags of the program. I'm so GLAD you were there.

"On several occasions I have had the privilege of having Lance Gallup perform for me at two different churches.  At each event, the people who attended were very blessed by Lance's exceptional musical ability, as well as his ability to minister God's truth through his gift.  I would highly recommend him to any church or church-related ministry that is looking to be blessed."

"...he plays his guitar and sings his songs like he is talking to his closest friend."

- from a MySpace fan review -

"There are those whose songs reach out and touch my heart on a deeper level and that is what keeps listening to them - it starts out as a love for the song (the words mostly) and develops into a love for the voice...to be honest, that is what happened with your music.." -Timi W. Gainesville, TX
